The Frances C. Richmond Middle School is contacted by local businesses and non-profits to make our parents aware of upcoming opportunities. We publish information that directly supports or enhances our grade 6-8 population. Please note that these are not school sponsored events.
Circus Smirkus' 2024 Tour!
Greetings!
My name is Jasmine Rose, and I am the Troupe Manager for Circus Smirkus' 2024 Tour! My main focus right now is to set up homestays for our troupers during our tour travels this July and August. I am looking to get the word out to local Hanover families about our need for homestays July 5-8th (3 nights).
Homestay families host a minimum of 2 troupers for their stay at a tour site. Homestays provide our troupers a comfortable bed to sleep in, they are responsible for transporting them to and from the show site, feeding them a nourishing breakfast and dinner, and supervising them when they are away from Circus Smirkus staff. Families should keep in mind that they will not only be transporting the troupers, but their luggage as well. Each trouper will have at least one large bag/suitcase that they will be bringing with them.
Homestay providers receive 2 tickets per show day to use for any show at that site. For example, if there are 2 show days, the homestay host would receive 4 tickets total. We will follow up to find out when families intend to use the tickets.

All household members aged 18 or more must pass a background check. If you will have a friend outside of the household help you, they too must be identified and background checked.
