Brunch Break

In this class, you get the best of both worlds -- breakfast and lunch! We'll make brunch favorites like pancakes, breakfast sliders, smoothie bowls, and charcuterie boards for any occasion with the perfect mix of sweet and savory bites. 

Ceramics

Always a fun-filled class! One of the hand-built projects this quarter will be winter tree tea lights. You will also have a chance to turn a bowl or cup on the wheel, and have the opportunity to create other small projects on your own.

Dance

In this class, you'll explore different dance styles, including hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary. You'll work on technical skills, learn fun routines, and create your own dances. This class is for all levels - come as you are!

Film Making

Create your own movie! In this class, we will work on filming, editing and directing short films. Actors welcome, too!

Fitness Room

Unleash your potential in this Fitness Room elective, your dedicated time to use all our fitness room equipment—from weights to cardio—to crush your specific personal fitness goals. Mr. A. will be there to ensure safety and offer guidance on your fitness plan.

Guitar

Learn to play guitar in school! This course is designed to develop your guitar skills regardless of your ability. Beginners to Advanced guitarists are all welcome. No guitar required!

Kids & Co

If you like being creative and love working with kids, this class is for you! In Kids & Co, you'll plan and lead fun activities for toddlers who visit our classroom on Fridays. 

Mosaics, Miniatures & Mobiles

This will be a mash up of three very different art forms! Join us as we learn about mosaic artwork throughout history, and create your own mosaic tiled hot plate. We will also be creating whimsical miniature animal portraits, and finishing up the quarter with Alexander Calder mobiles.

Music Open Lab

We use the entire music space to spread out and create music. This is not the same as "Music Studio" but if you want to work on your music production, bring in your laptop and headphones!

Music Studio

Create music using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Learn to record, design, and mix music on the computer. If you have ever wanted to write your own beats or electronic music then this audio engineering class is for you!

Net Sports

Ready to dominate the court? Net Sports is a high-energy fitness class where we focus on developing quick footwork, sharp hand-eye coordination, and court awareness. We'll play volleyball, pickleball, badminton, ping pong, and more!

News Crews

Lights, Camera, Action! Help put together the weekly RMS News Show. Actors, directors, editors, and tech crew needed!

Printmaking

We will explore a few different types of printmaking including, colographs, linoleum cut, and cyanotype printing that uses the light from the sun to create an image!

Snacks

In Snacks, we'll recreate viral recipes and put our own twist on popular treats! Expect a mix of sweet, salty, fruity, and chocolatey creations that you are your friends will love. 

Study

Study is a quiet, supervised class for students to complete assigned work, independent reading, or learn/practice skills on IXL.

Team Sports Plus

This elective will contain two sections of classes. Each week we will offer a new "team sport" to go along with some standard options of ping pong and fitness room. 

Tech Theatre

Explore the technical side of theatre as you learn to design lights, sound and scenery. Students will also be trained to use the lighting and sound equipment in the auditorium.

Watercolor

Join us as we explore the world of watercolor. This fun painting medium is great for creating layers of color, creating flowing abstracts, and mixing with other art mediums. Learn some basic skills, and experiment with a composition of your own.

Woodworking

After covering foundational safety knowledge and skills, students will have the opportunity to create projects using various techniques, woods, and tools. This highly individualized class is limited only by your creativity, persistence, and classroom materials.
