Summertime in the Library

Read two books

Every student is asked to read at least two books over the summer. You can read any two books you want, as long as you haven’t read them before.

Open Library Time

The library is open every Tuesday from 9:00-12:00 (except for August 30th). You can check out books, read, use the Makerspace, and hang out in the air conditioning. We will have different activities going on in the Makerspace such as book folding, beading, slime making and more!

Downloadable Books

Log in to Sora to read eBooks and Audiobooks for free. Available 24/7 all summer long! You can access Sora   or you can download the Sora App to your own device. Select Frances C. Richmond Middle School and sign in with your email address (rising 6th graders should continue to use their Ray School account).

Book Suggestions

Not sure what to read? The librarians have some suggestions. These books are grouped in the genres that match the sections we have in the library. YA stands for young adult. YA books may have more mature language and themes. MG stands for middle grade.
