Summertime in the Library

Welcome to Summer Reading Season!

READ TWO BOOKS

Over the summer, every student should read at least two books. You can read any two books you want, as long as you haven’t read them before.

Open Library hours

The library will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on seven Tuesdays: July 9th, July 16th, July 23th, July 30th, August 6th, August 13th, and August 20th. You can check out books, read, use the Makerspace, and hang out in the air conditioning. Makerspace activities will include 3D pens, jewelry/keychain making, book folding, duct tape, paper circuits, robots, and shrinky dinks.

Downloadable Books

Log in to Sora to read eBooks and Audiobooks for free. Available 24/7 all summer long! You can access Sora or you can download the Sora App to your own device. Select Frances C. Richmond Middle School and sign in with your email address (rising 6th graders should continue to use their Ray School account).
