Terms of Service (TOS) Agreement
At RMS, we use Gmail, and several other online learning tools in many productive ways and as responsible digital citizens. This TOS Agreement sets forth how RMS/SAU70 Gmail will operate and the responsibilities of its users. By using RMS Email, the User agrees to practice responsible digital citizenship and to abide by these Terms of Service. Individuals who violate the guidelines will have their privileges suspended or revoked. Use of the RMS/SAU 70 Gmail is also subject to school policies, and to state and national laws. Further disciplinary and legal action may result from violations of these policies.
User Responsibilities
- Do not Share your Password
Each User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her password and is liable for any messages sent using his/her account.
- Maintain Proper Online Conduct
Any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying RMS/SAU 70 Gmail will not be permitted.
- Do not transfer or post sexually explicit images or other content deemed offensive by RMS Technology Committee
- Do not use offensive, vulgar, or abusive language
- Do not cause distress, embarrassment, unwanted attention, or discomfort by harassing another with personal attacks. (Users will be subject to the School’s Anti-Harassment Policy as set out in the Student Handbook)
- Do not Violate the Security of the Network by:
- Impersonating another by communicating under a false name or by creating or using administrative accounts
- Attempting to hack into protected files, folders or data that you do not have explicit access to
- Do not Disrupt the Network by:
- Transmitting chain letters
- Purposefully generating large quantities of mail on the system

- RMS/SAU 70 cannot guarantee the privacy of email
- RMS/SAU 70 is not responsible for the accuracy of messages or information that are obtained on the Network or the Internet.
- RMS/SAU 70 is a distributor of content supplied by its Users and has no control over the opinions, advice or other information transmitted by the network.
- All RMS email is limited to within the hanovernorwichschools.org domain - RMS student email cannot be sent or received from outside of the hanovernorwichschools.org domain
